Kalashnikova is named after the gas-operated assault rifle called the Avtomat Kalashnikova. The first cultivator was Green House Seeds, and there’s nothing foggy about them cleverly naming their hybrid cross of the strains AK-47 and White Widow. It's buds are a vivid green and have slight purple hues throughout, with a crystal coat of trichomes, and It's taste is somewhat similar, with spicy and earthy undertones.

Effects have been described by reviewers as strong, balanced, and pleasant with some even stating that they’ve felt aroused after smoking this strain. Kalashnikova has been reputed to both relax the body and focus the mind which could allow one to work on projects or any endeavor needing creativity and calmness.
