About this Hybrid Strain
Mountain Orange, also known as Orange Cookies, is a slightly indica-dominant hybrid. Although many cultivate this strain, our review batch was grown by House of Herbs out of Las Vegas. It is a cross of GSC and Orange Juice.
Mountain Orange's bushy buds are packed tightly, with forest-green leaves, sparsely littered with orange pistils. Fuzzy gold-trichomes outline and wrap the buds. The bushy, tree-shaped buds look similar to American fern bushes. Mountain Orange is all about the refreshing flavor! This strain has a wonderful taste of orange-citrus and pine, with hints of mint and a peppery aftertaste. The aroma is similar, carrying a strong orange and pine scent, with mint giving it a hint of zest.
Although the dominant terpene is Beta-Myrcene, the "couch-lock" terpene, most reviewers found themselves mentally lively and energetic, while feeling physically relaxed. The psychoactive elation reportedly stimulates the imagination and eases stress. They said this makes Mountain Orange a good choice for artists and musicians and suggested it for consumers prone to tension related grievances, who can't afford to sit around on the couch. Mountain Orange, aka Orange Cookies, is a great tasting hybrid that fans say may help stimulate creativity while helping the body unwind.
