2021 Maxxis Tires Casey Folks Vegas to Reno Tech and Contingency
The 25th Anniversary of the Maxxis Casey Folks Vegas to Reno race started with Tech & Contingency out at Boulder Station Hotel and Casino. Team Hytiva® was present supporting racer Wes Miller in the UTV Unlimited class. The day was busy from the start as vehicles were lined up ready to get through tech before the intense heat was at it highest point.
With our large booth setup, truck and trailer, we were well represented. Racers and teams made their way through and those who stopped by had the chance to meet the staff, talk about the race, check out our custom built Polaris RZR and grab some swag.
For the race, Team Hytiva offered a contingency bonus of $1,000.00 for the Overall UTV winner. All they had to do was support Team Hytiva by placing two stickers on their vehicle.
Since this was a local race for us, we ran into a lot of familar faces from previous races and events. Newly signed short course driver Shawn Saxton also came out to the booth to support Wes and the team.
Besides battling the heat, it was a great day spending time with our fellow racers and their race teams! Next up, the race!
