Ford Performance Gears Up for the Rolex 24 at Daytona
Ford Performance set to start the 2025 IMSA season in Daytona
The 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season kicks off with the iconic Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, and Ford Performance is set to make a bold statement. With a total of eight cars hitting the track at Daytona International Speedway, Ford is ready to showcase its motorsport prowess.
Leading the charge is Ford’s factory team, operated by Multimatic Motorsports, which will field two Ford Mustang GT3 cars in the GTD Pro class—the No. 64 and No. 65. Additionally, Gradient Racing has entered a third GT3 car, the No. 66, in the GTD class.
Meanwhile, the Michelin Pilot Challenge GT4 class will feature five Ford Mustang GT4 entries. Kohr Motorsports will compete with two cars, the No. 59 and No. 60. Other entries include McCumbee McAleer Racing’s No. 13, LAP Motorsports’ No. 30, and Stephen Cameron Racing’s No. 19.
In the GTD Pro class, the No. 64 Mustang GT3 will be driven by a talented trio of Mike Rockenfeller, Austin Cindric, and Sebastian Priaulx. The No. 65 car will feature Christopher Mies, Frederic Vervisch, and Dennis Olsen behind the wheel.
The Gradient Racing No. 66 car, competing in the GTD class, will have an impressive lineup of four drivers: Joey Hand, Till Bechtolsheimer, Tatiana Calderon, and Harry Tincknell.
With Ford’s deep-rooted legacy in motorsport, the Mustang GT3 and GT4 cars are poised to deliver competitive performances all weekend. Fans can expect plenty of excitement as these machines aim to dominate the track and continue Ford's storied tradition of racing success.
