WORCS SXS World Finals Race Weekend
Primm NV hosts Rounds 10 & 11 with the Championship being decided at this event.
The WORCS SXS World Finals consisted of two rounds with short course racing on Saturday and the longer course on Sunday. The weather was warm and sunny making for a great weekend of racing.
Saturday Short Course Race
Starting on the front row, Team Hytiva driver Shawn Saxton got off to a great start quickly jumping out to an early lead. Midway through the race he had to pull over due to a broken belt. Shawn was able to get the belt replaced and back on track, but had to play catch up to the race leaders ultimately finishing towards the back for the first heat.
Starting in the back for the second heat, the number 18 UTV was making its way through the pack battling wheel to wheel through the first two laps. Another mechanical issue struck just as he was about to go over a big jump leaving Shawn pulled over on the side of the hill. With the rest of the field taking the checkered flag, the Team Hytiva Polaris RZR had to be towed back to the pits not finishing the race.
