History

Founded in 2015, Harbory was the creation of mother Michele Koo, who received her Doctorate at Washington University in St. Louis before going on to a very successful plastic surgery practice, and son Cameron Lehman, a current Master’s student at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. After undergoing the horrible effects of cancer in their family, Dr. Koo and Mr. Lehman observed the medical benefits of correctly used medical cannabis firsthand and became invested in its many applications. They did their research and wanted to create a dispensary that connected qualifying patients and their families to this alternative medicine that helped so many conditions. This idea grew into what became the Harbory Medical Cannabis Dispensary and has since helped patients across Illinois to safely and knowledgeably access medical marijuana for their health needs.

All products they carry are lab tested for quality and cannabinoid profiles by the cultivators. New patients are walked through their dispensary through their new patient orientation, where one of their Wellness Specialists understands their concerns and discusses their medical marijuana options. They have plenty of parking and are handicap accessible.

Marion, Illinois is the county seat of Williamson County, part of a dispersed urban area established out of the early 20th-century industrial era.
