About this Hybrid Strain
The cultivation team at Fire Bros in the State of Washington wanted to combine a great tasting strain like Fruity P with a potent lineage stemming from a diesel. The result was the cannabis strain dubbed Sour Pebbles, being a cross between Alien Diesel and Fruity P. Sour Pebbles THC levels reach up to 25%, making it not only delicious, but powerful as well.
The deep forest and teal-green nuggets have a nice assortment of long, dark orange pistils with a glaze of white trichomes. Breaking Sour Pebbles buds apart omits pungent diesel fumes
mixed with scents of sweet berries and sour lemons. A gassy taste becomes more distinct when it’s combusted, but citrus can be found in the aftertaste.
While its parent strain Fruity P is heaviest in terpenes that are best known for producing couchlock, this isn’t the case with Sour Pebbles. Consumers report feeling energy that comes as its sativa genetics overpower any couchlock effect. Terpenes present such as pinene and myrcene also purportedly brought out analgesic effects. This then kills the crippling and chronic pain that makes starting activities more difficult. The Sour Pebbles strain seems to enhance the mind-muscle connection according to consumers, thus making all forms of exercise more enjoyable.
A testament to the medicinal properties of this strain is in its 3rd Place finish in the Medicinal Sativa category at 2014 High Times US Cannabis cup in Seattle. Some have used it for managing migraines and muscle spasms as well as anxiety and depression.
