Oregon Diesel is an indica cannabis strain that emits a scent and creates a flavor reminiscent of pine and citrus. Some reviewers note it can have a berry-like flavor with diesel undertones. Its buds are little and shaped like pebbles, being a dark green with hues of violet and a thick coating of trichomes.
Parent strains of Oregon Diesel are a combination of the hybrid NYC Diesel and hybrid Blackberry. Its name derives from the location it first blossomed, under the care of Homegrown Natural Wonders. However, it was popularized by Oregrown.
THC levels normally fall between 14-22%, so checking this strain’s potency is advised before consumption/purchasing. Its high is best for nighttime, often warming the body into a lovely state of relaxation, sedating and pulling the consumer into a tranquil state of mind. Falling asleep becomes an easy task, making Oregon Diesel a good choice to help most with insomnia. It’s also been known to help with pain and muscles spasms.
Ill side-effects are mostly dry mouth, but anxiousness, dizziness, or paranoia may arise if Oregon Diesel is improperly consumed.
Growers should note this strain was bred specifically for Northwest climates.
