About this Hybrid Strain
The rare indica cannabis strain Edelweiss (meaning “noble white”) derives its name from the white flower that blossoms in the Swiss Alps. Both plants bare star-shaped leaflets and share color. The Edelweiss cannabis strain is coated in a thick, frosty layer of milky trichomes that make its buds look snow-covered when harvest-ready. It emits a scent similar to berries and roses, often smelling like a lovely perfume.
The parent strains of Edelweiss are a cross between the indica Hindu Kush, hybrid Skunk No. 1, and indica North Indian.
The THC levels have been known to reach heights of 21%. Its high is described as extremely heady, increasing cerebral effects and leaving the consumer relaxed, content, and spacey as thoughts stream steadily into the mind. It produces a soothing body high that will cause sleepiness, making this strain best consumed in the evenings and at night.
Not many ill side-effects have been noted by reviewers regarding this strain besides the typical dry mouth and eyes. Few have noted slight bouts of dizziness that soon dissipate.
Edelweiss flowers in your normal seven to eight weeks.
