Hollywood OG

You’d think a strain with a name like this would be referenced by hip hopsters more often. Hollywood OG sprouts chunky, pop-corny shaped nugs with light green calyxes and lots of trichomes.

This indica-leaning hybrid cannabis plant smells somewhat like citrus with laced with that tennis-ball scent characteristic of most OGs. The taste is surprisingly sweet with hints of earthiness.

It’s THC levels can reach 20% THC by weight, so it’s a heavy hitter.

And heavy it most certainly is. This strain doesn’t just hit hard, it hits fast, so if you’re experimenting with new strains, you should know if this one’s for you right off the bat. It’s mostly a cerebral high that’s great to lifting the spirits and correcting sour moods, though it also works well for combatting restlessness and minor pains.

High doses of Hollywood OG may cause headaches or anxiety. Dry mouth and red eyes are also common side effects.
